I really enjoy kayaking and there is a favorite spot that is between 2 lakes close to my home, Crescent and Panther. Many trees fall into this waterway and make excellent places for small animals and much plant life. Of course, when I find a place I like, I have to put it on canvas. This one turned out quite well. I hope you like it.

Summer is here and I’ve been busy with gardening, kayaking and having fun. Thought you’d like to see my latest endeavor. This spring I went to New Hampshire to a town called Jackson where this river rages after the snows melt. It was a beautiful sight and of course I had to put it to paint. I hope you like it. I ALMOST NEVER PAINT EXACTLY THE SCENE I SEE BUT MAKE IT MY OWN.

Sugar Maples

The maples are running with sap now, and have been for the past couple of weeks. This is a sure sign of spring. Buds are swelling, flowers are emerging from the ground and we all feel a sense of rebirth. What a wonderful time of the year!
